Gdynia, Poland (April 30, 2018) – Synexus, the world’s leading site network for clinical trials, has moved its Gdynia dedicated research site to a new location in ul. Łużycka 3c. The new facility offers nearly double the amount of space as its previous operation and includes additional treatment rooms equipped with the latest diagnostic equipment. Complete blood count, glucose level, lipoprotein and bone density tests are a few examples of the free examinations now available at the new Synexus site.
“We have moved our Gydnia site to a location that will provide greater comfort and convenience to our patients, as well as enhanced services at even higher levels,” said Dr. Radosław Janiak, the company’s president and chief operating officer. “Patients visiting our clinic can benefit from a wide range of free tests and consultations with doctors specialising in different areas of medicine. The new site expands our capabilities in Europe aligned with our global strategy.”
Synexus dedicated research sites are a network of clinics situated around the world. The facility in Gdynia was the first in the region, but Tricity residents also can visit the clinic in Gdańsk. Other Polish branches are located in Katowice, Poznań, Warsaw and Wrocław. In 2018, two new sites will be established in Łódź and Częstochowa.
Synexus is part of PPD’s Accelerated Enrollment Solutions business unit. One aspect of the Synexus operations includes conducting preventative health care programmes and clinical trials across a range of therapy areas. To date, more than 50,000 people have benefitted from the services provided by the centre in Gdynia.
The clinic employs 10 doctors, including a family medicine specialist, orthopaedist, dermatologist and a rheumatologist. Patients have 11 modern treatment rooms at their disposal, where they can undergo free check-ups, such as tests for diabetes, osteoarthritis and cardiac problems. The facility in ul. Łużycka 3c is open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Synexus is thought of highly among Polish patients. That was evidenced in March 2015, when the company received the prestigious title of a “Friend of Seniors” in the Free Preventative Tests category as part of a nationwide awards program.
