• Completes insertion and maintenance of the IV line as well as the care of the patient receiving the therapy.
• Establishes IV access.
• Administers investigation product.
• Monitors patient and ensures patient safety.
• Attends meetings and relays pertinent information to Infusion Team members in a timely manner.
• Maintains timely source documentation as well as sponsor required information.
• Completes all monitor and sponsor queries within a timely manner.
• Manages all nurse functions of the Infusion suite.
• Assists PI and Clinical Research Coordinator in trial related procedures such as lumbar punctures, lab collections, ECG’s and more.
• Assess patient’s tolerance to IP, ensuring the absence of infusion reactions.
• Performs preceptor duties to provide training and guidance for new employees.
• Ensures adherence to COP’s, SOP’s and GCP (ICH GCP and local regulations).

• Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license within the state of Florida.
• Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2+ years’).

In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.
