We are currently looking to attract an Associate Manager, AR Accounting to join our global Accelerated Enrollment Solutions (AES) Accounts Receivable Team. In this position you will be responsible for complex accounts receivable accounting activities.

Key roles and responsibilities of the Associate Manager, AR Accounting are:

  • Coordination and preparation of invoicing per customer and study in a timely and accurate manner in line with contract and accounting rules
  • Reconciliation of revenue accounts, deferred income account and trade debtors’ account
  • Monitoring and following up on AR aged balances, resolving E2E queries from customers
  • Timely cash collection from assigned customers and monitoring of company’s cash flow
  • Analysis of financial information related to sales and credit control in the AES Group and proactively taking necessary actions
  • Supervision of intercompany reconciliations within the group
  • Liaising with external auditors during annual statutory audit ensuring timely and accurately responses to audit queries
  • Active participation in implementation of an accounting system and process improvements
  • Cooperation with country Head of Finance and Finance Directors
  • Direct interaction with Customers, organization of teleconferences and direct calls when required
  • Advising the team in operational activities, supervising their complex assignments
  • Adherence to company accounting policies and guidelines

To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will require the following skills and experience:

  • At least 6 years of finance experience
  • University degree (preferably in Accounting or Finance)
  • Fluent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Advanced business application skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Good business acumen with ability to understand complex organizational structures and environments
  • Very good analytical skills
  • Motivation and self-initiative, activity and willingness to work and learn
  • Open minded and details oriented,
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and complexity
