In return for the patient access you provide, we extend the level of care your patient receives. From medical screening to DXA scanning, we give patients free, quality care in addition to trial treatments. This in turn frees up the valuable resources of your practice/healthcare organisation.
Synexus is also able to assist you in earning additional QOF points.
As a healthcare professional, your database is an invaluable tool allowing us to reach the right patients quickly. All we need is a quick search of your system based on very basic criteria that matches our client’s requirements e.g. males 50-85yrs. When the search is complete, we take care of everything.
Process Details
- Your healthcare organisation searches its database for suitable patients. These are simple, basic searches based primarily on gender and age.
- We send patients an ethically approved letter introducing them to the study and asking them to contact us if interested.
- Patients contact Synexus direct, not your organisation.
- We then discuss the details of the study with patients impartially and sensitively, reminding them that they are completely obligation free.
- Following checks that compare our source data with your records (SDV forms), volunteer patients are medically screened and then entered into the study.
- Patients are free to withdraw at any time during the study and both patient and practice are kept fully informed throughout.
