ALAN PILGRIM, CHAIRMAN
Alan Pilgrim has extensive experience in the healthcare services area. He recently retired as Group Chief Executive Officer of Europe's largest diagnostic imaging services company Alliance Medical. Prior to this he turned around the healthcare staffing business Match Group and was Chief Executive Officer of Community Hospitals Group and Group Managing Director of BNA - now known as Nestor. He is a Chartered Accountant by training.

Dr Christophe Berthoux, Chief Executive
Dr Christophe Berthoux has spent the previous twenty years with Charles River where he was most recently Executive Vice President Global Sales and Marketing and Chief Commercial Officer. Dr Berthoux has extensive experience in the international clinical trials sector and has worked both in the United States and Europe. Before launching his career in the field of clinical research Dr Berthoux trained as a veterinary practitioner.

Professor Trevor Jones CBE, Director & President of Synexus Scientific Advisory Board
Prof. Jones has enjoyed a distinguished career in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries and has held many senior positions, including being head of the British pharmaceutical industry for 10 years when he held the post of Director General of the ABPI (The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry). Prof. Jones continues to hold various Board and senior positions with leading organisations and associations.

Dr Ian Smith, Medical Director
Dr Ian Smith spent the early part of his medical career in NHS general practice. It was during his time as a GP that his interest in clinical research developed inspiring him to become a part-time investigator. In 1992, he established the first dedicated patient recruitment centre in the UK, which is the business model that Synexus grew from.Over the past 15 years, Dr Smith has developed Synexus to be the leader in the recruitment and running of clinical trials across the globe.

Jane Restorick, Chief Operating Officer
Jane Restorick joined Synexus in 2001 as the Director of Quality Systems. From 2002 to 2006, Jane led Synexus‘ International Operations and since 2006 she has been Director of International Projects and Planning. Jane has a strong background in clinical operations having held senior positions at Pfizer, Fujisawa Limited and Vernalis Ltd (formerly Vanguard Medica Limited). Jane began her career as a Medical School Research Assistant in Urological Research at Guy‘s Hospital.
DR GLYNIS NEAGLE, CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER
Dr Neagle has worked as a pharmaceutical industry physician for over 12 years and has extensive experience in the clinical trials sector including large global registration trials and post-marketing studies. Her areas of therapeutic expertise include oncology, internal medicine and sleep studies. Dr Neagle joined Synexus from Norgine Ltd, a specialist GI/Hepatology pharmaceutical company, where she was Director of Clinical Development. She previously spent several years working for Covance where she was latterly VP of Medical Affairs.
CHRIS HANNIGAN, VICE PRESIDENT, INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Chris Hannigan joined Synexus in 2007. Chris has extensive experience of outsourcing clinical trials across the globe having worked in the industry for 23 years. At Kendle International, one of the world‘s leading global clinical research organisations, Chris was the UK Managing Director. He has also held senior outsourcing positions at Roche.
PAUL CHAMBERS, CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Paul Chambers joined Synexus in 2008 as International Finance Manager. From 2008-2010, Paul led the integration of Synexus' international operations and led the M&A team during the acquisition of subsidiaries in Poland and Germany. Paul was appointed as Chief Financial Officer in 2011. Prior to joining Synexus, Paul was Group Corporate Accountant at Johnson Service Group PLC. Paul trained with KPMG and is a chartered accountant.
