Sanet Aspinall, Regional Director, South Africa

Dr Sanet Aspinall joined Synexus in 2007 when Synexus acquired Clinical Research Centres SA - which she had founded and run since 2000. Sanet has extensive experience in clinical research and the management of clinical research units. Sanet began her career at the Medical University of Southern Africa and later became Director of Research and Post-Graduate Studies. She also served as a member of the South African Medicine Control Council (1998-2000).   

Angela Harnick, Regional Director, UK

Angela Harnick joined Synexus in 1998 and, during that time, has gained considerable clinical trial experience through her role as Site and Regional Site Director. This ‘coal face' experience enables Angela to bring a wealth of valuable knowledge to her role as Head of UK Operations which encompasses Synexus' seven UK Dedicated Research Centres.

Helena Sigal, Regional Director, Germany

Helena Sigal joined Synexus in 2009 following the acquisition of ClinPharm and assumed the role of Head of Operations for Germany. She was previously Director Clinical Operations for ClinPharm. Helena has extensive clinical trial experience having been a Principal Investigator at ClinPharm before assuming the role of Director of Clinical Operations. During her time at ClinPharm she was also responsible for the site management of 12 sites across Europe and speaks fluent Russian, Ukranian, German and English. Helena also has significant experience of the pharmaceutical industry having worked with leading organisations including GSK, Rathipharm international and Berlin-Chemie.

Dr Radoslaw Janiak, Managing Director, Central and Eastern Europe

Dr Radoslaw Janiak joined Synexus in 2006 following its acquisition of SCM - one of the first Dedicated Clinical Research Centres in Poland. Radoslaw has over ten years' experience in the clinical trials sector in Poland with particular expertise in managing studies across multiple sites in such areas as osteoporosis, rheumatology, metabolic diseases and cardiology.

Following the acquisition of CLCC in 2009 he became Regional Director of Synexus Poland with responsibility for the four Polish clinics.

In 2012 Dr Radoslaw Janiak was promoted to Managing Director of Synexus Central and Eastern Europe with accountability for all Synexus operations across Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria and Ukraine.

Gabor Kiss, Regional Director, Central and Eastern Europe

Gabor Kiss joined Synexus in 2009 as European Financial Controller. He achieved significant development in the quality and accuracy of the monthly financial reports around six countries and was deeply involved in the consolidation and financial integration of ClinPharm and CLCC. Since autumn 2010, Gabor has been responsible for the operative supervision of the CEE sites in Austria, Bulgaria, Hungary and Ukraine.
